Abstract: A display device for displaying a three dimensional image such that different views are displayed according to the viewing angle has a display panel with a plurality of separately addressable pixels for displaying said image. The pixels are grouped such that different pixels in a group correspond to different views of the image. The pixels are configured in colour clusters for each physical location within the image, a cluster comprising three pixel groups each corresponding to a different primary colour. A display driver controls a transmission characteristic of each pixel to generate an image according to received image data. The drive signals applied to each pixel in the display panel are adjusted using colour correction values that vary the optical transmission of each pixel within a group and each group within a cluster so as to produce an image colour for each cluster that is independent of viewing direction.
Abstract: A voltage-controlled oscillator comprising a LC tank circuit coupled to a pair of transistors and crossed-coupled to a pair of emitter follower transistors each transistor having a collector, an emitter and a base, the voltage controlled oscillator being characterized in that a supply voltage applied to the collectors of the emitter follower transistors is substantially different from a supply voltage applied to the bases of the emitter follower transistors.
Abstract: A semiconductor film is formed in a gap between a source electrode and a drain electrode of a thin film transistor in an active-matrix type liquid crystal display device. A metal film for a gate electrode is formed on said semiconductor film via a gate insulating film. A photo-resist film, having a thick portion in region including the gap and having an opening portion in contact-hole forming region, is formed on the metal film. A contact-hole is formed in the gate insulating film by using the organic material film as a mask. The organic material film is left on the region including the gap. A gate electrode is formed on the region including the gap by etching the first metal film by using the remained organic material film as a mask. An organic material film, having projections and depressions, is formed on a reflective region except the contact-hole forming region.
