Abstract: A device for adjusting the height of pieces of furniture, in particular lift tables. The device includes two spaced apart standing feet, each of which has an inner tube which can be displaced telescopically in an outer tube and which are connected to a connecting frame. Since two rotatable driving elements are tensionally connected to the upper end region and lower end region of an inner tube of a standing foot, a high lifting speed with good synchronization is possible during height adjustments.
