Abstract: A modular pallet constructed from individual parts, to form a transporting pallet or a storage pallet, by using intermediate components of different dimensions, and changeable from a transporting pallet to a storage pallet for use in a high-bay warehouse by moving adapters beneath the transporting rails automatically when entering the high-bay warehouse, and back from a storage pallet to a transporting pallet by removing the adapters again when leaving the high-bay warehouse.

Abstract: The invention proposes a modular pallet, the individual parts of which can be used to construct either a so-called transporting pallet or a so-called storage pallet. The transporting pallet is useable in the high-bay warehouse by an adapter 8 present in the high-bay warehouse being moved automatically beneath the transporting rail 7. Interchanging the intermediate component 6 (at least four of which are present in the pallet) makes it possible to change a storage pallet into a transporting pallet and the transporting pallet into a storage pallet.
