    Abstract: A method of finding a direction of an ultra-wide band (UWB) using a difference between antenna beam patterns includes receiving a signal from a target device through at least one antenna configured to form a plurality of different beam patterns, obtaining a channel impulse response (CIR) of the received signal for each of the plurality of beam patterns, and finding the direction of the target device based on the CIR.
