Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel tire cord fabric or strip made of alternating PET and nylon 6.6 warp cords which is used as tire reinforcement. Such a novel tire cord fabric or strips improve high speed durability, tread separation resistance and impact resistance when used as zero degree spirally wound cap ply in pneumatic radial tires.
Abstract: A bias tire carcass reinforced with hybrid cords consisting one ply aramide yarns (1) and one ply nylon yarns (2), and nylon content within cord is between 45 to 65%; the nylon yarn content within those range improves fatigue resistance and reduces sidewall gauge with respect to reference bias tire having nylon carcass; in one embodiment of the present invention, a bias tire carcass for pneumatic tires which have reinforcing layers comprising hybrid cords consist of one ply is made of aramide yarns and one ply is made of nylon yarns with 45-65% nylon content by weight, are balanced twisted cords.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel tire cord reinforcement made of ultra high modulus aramid fibers which has bielastic tensile properties. The dipped and heat-set aramid cord includes at least two cord plies and there is a spacing between the cord plies. Such a novel bielastic tire cord improves high speed durability and eliminates flatspotting when used as cap ply in pneumatic radial tires.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel tire cord reinforcement made of ultra high modulus carbon fibers which has bi-elastic tensile properties. The dipped and heat-set carbon fiber cord includes at least two cord plies and there is a spacing between the cord plies. Such a novel bi-elastic tire cord improves high speed durability and eliminates flatspotting when used as cap ply in pneumatic radial tires.
Abstract: A dipped and heat-set high modulus nylon 6.6 cords having a tensile stress value between 1.2 and 2.0 cN/dtex at 4% elongation. The high modulus nylon 6.6 cords are used as reinforcement in shaped rubber composites. The minimum heat shrinkage of the cords is 4% and the maximum heat shrinkage thereof is 7%.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cap ply reinforcement hybrid yarn (1) which is located between the tread and the belt package especially in radial passenger vehicle tires, which improves the high speed durability of the tire by using polyamide (N)/polyester (P) yarns, and which provides fuel saving by decreasing the rolling resistance.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a asymmetric cap ply reinforcement cord comprising yarns having yarns with two different linear density values in range of 1300-1500 dtex and 850-100 dtex in the cap ply reinforcement layer that is located between the tread and the belt package in a pneumatic radial vehicle tire comprising a tread and a belt package, and that is formed by winding spirally as strip comprising at least two cords such that it will make 0 to 5° angle with the equatorial plane on the said belt package.
Abstract: A two or three-ply nylon 6.6 cord having a breaking elongation of 8 to 12% and a minimum tenacity of 9 g/dtex is disclosed in the present invention. The two or three-ply nylon 6.6 cord is used as tire reinforcement, in particular as cap ply spirally wound on belt package with 0° to 5° to the equatorial plane of the radial pneumatic tire.
Abstract: The present invention discloses high modulus single twisted nylon 6.6 yarns having a tensile stress value between 2.0 and 2.8 cN/dtex at 4% elongation. The single twisted yarns are prepared from a raw polyamide 6.6 yarn. The single twisted yarns are used as reinforcement in shaped rubber composites. The minimum heat shrinkage of the cords is 4% and maximum heat shrinkage is 7%.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photovoltaic yarn and production method wherein electrical conduction is enabled by the photovoltaic yarn comprising a texturized yarn (2) with a cathode layer (4), an active layer (6) and an anode layer (8) coating thereon, the photovoltaic yarn can generate electricity utilizing the solar light, and which is developed especially to be used in textile industry.
