Abstract: A high-speed device, for inspecting a large area of an object, which includes: a terahertz wave generation portion configured to generate a terahertz wave; a ring beam forming portion configured to form a ring beam by using the terahertz wave incident from the terahertz wave generation portion; a rotary mirror configured to reflect the ring beam formed by the ring beam forming portion while rotating to allow the ring beam to be incident on an inspection target object; and a detector configured to detect a ring beam generated from the inspection target object.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising as an active ingredient a strain having excellent ability to produce formic acid for preventing or treating obesity or metabolic syndromes caused by obesity; and to a food composition and a health functional food each comprising the active ingredient. The strain having excellent ability to produce formic acid according to the present invention not only has effects of reducing body weight and inhibiting fat accumulation in organs, but also has activity to effectively lower blood triglyceride and cholesterol levels, and therefore, the composition comprising the strain as an active ingredient can be favorably used as a composition capable of preventing/alleviating or treating obesity or metabolic syndromes caused by obesity. Therefore, the strain having excellent ability to produce formic acid according to the present invention can be favorably used as a material for a medical product or health food.

Abstract: The present invention relates to: a novel Lactobacillus intestinalis YT2 strain (deposition number: KCCM11812P); and a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating menopause, comprising, as an active ingredient, Lactobacillus intestinalis comprising the novel strain. The present inventors have established an animal model for menopause through ovariectomy, confirmed changes of the distribution of intestinal microorganisms by the model, identified and isolated a novel Lactobacillus intestinalis strain among lactic acid bacteria of which the distribution is significantly reduced in the menopausal model, and confirmed effects, by means of the novel strain and previously reported Lactobacillus intestinalis strains, of alleviating menopausal symptoms, such as the inhibition of an increase in body fat, the inhibition of a decrease in bone mineral density, the inhibition of an increase in the pain sensitivity, and the alleviation of depression.

Abstract: The present invention, which is a food composition for alleviating diabetes that contains Schisandra chinensis fruit water and bean juice as active ingredients, has a high inhibitory activity against ?-glucosidase and prevents a rise of the blood sugar after meals, thereby alleviating diabetes. The food composition for alleviating diabetes can be prepared in different forms, such as soy milk, powdered soy milk, other forms of soy milk, or processed bean curd, and used in the preparation of health functional foods for blood sugar control or foods for diabetics according to the Special Purpose Foods of the general foods. In addition, the food composition for alleviating diabetes according to the present invention, when further containing a saccharified material of grain, maintains viscosity similar to that of regular soy milk by preventing agglomeration of the liquid soy milk and improves sensory properties, so it can be suitable for use in beverages such as soy milk or other forms of soy milk.

Abstract: A novel Lactobacillus paracasei AO356 strain according to the present disclosure, which is a strain isolated from the human body, has high stability, exhibits the activity of inhibiting adipogenic differentiation in vitro and inducing the differentiation of M1 and M0 macrophages into M2 macrophages, and has excellent activity of alleviating, preventing, or treating obesity, such as the activity of reducing body weight and a reduction in blood lipid concentration through the browning of white fat in animal experiments. Thus, the novel strain of the present disclosure has a low possibility of causing side effects, and therefore, unlike conventional diet functional foods or drugs, which have side effect problems, a diet effect can be exhibited without controlling the dose thereof. Accordingly, the novel strain can be used as a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing obesity or a food composition for alleviating or preventing obesity.
