Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for identifying animal species by using audiovisual information. A method for identifying animal species, according to one embodiment of the present invention, may include: a step of receiving an input signal for an object to be identified; a step of processing image information and acoustic information based on the input signal, wherein a processing result of the image information and a processing result of the acoustic information are represented by class-specific scores; a step of determining whether the image information processing result and the acoustic information processing result corresponding to the input signal exist; and a final result derivation step of fusing the image information processing result and the acoustic information processing result according to the determination result and classifying the object to be identified as a certain animal species by using the fused processing result.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. Abstract: Disclosed are new polymeric materials that respond to a mechanical force. The novel polymeric compounds contain an isomer of aziridine, a three-membered N-heterocyclic compound. Also disclosed are methods for preparing the polymeric compounds. Mechanical force-induced cycloaddition of aziridines as mechanophores yields stereospecific products without covalent bond cleavage of aziridines. That is, a mechanical force makes the mechanochemical products stereospecific. The stereospecific products prepared from the isomeric mechanophores by a mechanical force can be widely used in various industrial fields, including new materials.

Abstract: In a software watermarking method according to an embodiment, a watermark is embedded into an executable binary file by compiling a source code to generate the executable binary file and rewriting the executable binary file while reordering two or more functions included in the executable binary file. At the time of compiling the source code, metadata including information related to positions of functions in the executable binary file is generated and included in the binary. The executable binary file is rewritten by reflecting change in positions of the two or more functions using the metadata without recompiling the source code. Information related to the changed function location is stored in a separate ledger.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying a compromised controller using an intentional error are provided. The method, performed by an electronic device in a controller area network (CAN), for identifying a compromised electronic control unit (ECU) that transmits an attack message on a CAN bus in a periodic transmission cycle. The method includes, in response to detecting the attack message, transitioning a first ECU among a plurality of ECUs connected to the CAN bus to a bus-off state intentionally, and determining whether the first ECU is the compromised ECU based at least in part on a time, which is predicted from recovery parameters related to the first ECU, for when the first ECU resumes transmission of a CAN message and a time when the attack message is redetected on the CAN bus.

Abstract: A direct-current (DC)-DC converter includes a converting circuit including an inductor element.
