Abstract: Disclosed are a sound pickup unit and a blood pressure measurement device comprising same. The disclosed blood pressure measurement device comprises: an airbag the internal pressure of which is controlled by a fluid being injected thereto or the injected fluid being discharged therefrom; a cuff which has the airbag wrapping around a part of the body of a test subject during blood pressure measurement; a sound pickup unit which is arranged to be closer to the periphery rather than the center of the cuff and collects a signal corresponding to the blood pressure of the test subject; and a control unit for measuring the blood pressure of the test subject on the basis of the signal, wherein the sound pickup unit collects the signal corresponding to the blood pressure of the test subject by being in close contact with the body of the test subject during blood pressure measurement, and the cuff is elongated in the direction in which the cuff wraps around a part of the body of the test subject.
Abstract: A blood pressure measuring device and method are disclosed. The disclosed blood pressure measuring device comprises a processor that displays signals sensed from a subject in real time on a display while the internal pressure of a cuff wrapped around a portion of the subject's body varies, and that visually varies a reference signal or displays a visual mark indicative of the reference signal when displaying the reference signal corresponding to the subject's blood pressure from among the signals on the display in real time.
