Abstract: The invention relates to a pelleting machine with a die table having at least one die plate, dies associated with the die plate and a feed device for feeding a material to be pressed into the die plates. The feed device includes a feed shoe which is arranged substantially parallel to a surface of the die table and has at least one feed opening which is arranged or can be arranged in the region of the die plates. The pelleting machine further includes a sealing device disposed between the feed shoe and the die table. According to the invention, the sealing device has at least one element (38) forming the contour of the feed opening (54), wherein a force acting in the direction of the die table (12) is applied to the element (38). The invention also relates to a feed shoe for at least one pelleting machine and a sealing device for a feed shoe of a pelleting machine.

Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary pelleting machine comprising a driveable die block provided with a defined number of dies distributed over the periphery thereof, bottom rams and top rams which are associated with the dies and rotate about a common rotational axis, synchronously with the die block, along a bottom ram guide and a top ram guide, at least one filler device for filling the dies with a material to be compressed, and a compression device for acting on the rams with a compression force. According to the invention, the filler device (18) comprises at least two independently chargeable filling chambers (24) which can be successively brought into a defined filling position. The invention also relates to a method for producing a multi-layer pellet by means of a rotary pelleting machine.
Abstract: The invention describes a method for producing tablets under protection from the environment with a tablet press and a protective device disposed on such tablet presses for protecting the surroundings of the presses from tablet ingredients, such as toxic substances, and/or for protecting the tablets from ambient media, such as oxygen.
Abstract: A method and a device controls a rotary tablet forming machine having a rotor. The rotor is capable of being rotated by a drive unit. The rotor includes at least one matrix with allocated upper punches and lower punches and a pressing force, to act on the press mass filled into the at least one matrix is determined. The determined pressing force (PKactual) is compared with a pre-specifiable limit value (PKlimit) and, with a level going below the limit value (PKlimit). Then, required speed (nr) of the rotor can be reduced to a speed below the rated speed (nr-rated).
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for remotely diagnosing process conditions in systems such as tablet presses, using computer software. The aim of the invention is to develop a method, which overcomes the disadvantages of methods in prior art and ensures that no modifications, which lead to unintentional effects on the systems, can be made to the software. To achieve this, a programmable control system (PCS) and/or a computer, such as a personal computer (PC), is/are connected to an Internet server, such as a browser, in such a way that—the process image of all conditions and the entire parameterisation of the system (actual condition) is stored on the Internet on a protected home page and/or—the PCS and/or the PC is operated as a subscriber of an e-mail system and issues protected status messages via said system—and the installation and parameterisation of the components and the software are stored either in e-mail form or as a protected Internet page.
