Abstract: A container wall of paper (10, 22) for a container with a predominantly circular or elliptic cross-section is disclosed. The paper is a highly extensible Kraft paper, preferably with an extension of 5% to 20%. The container wall (10, 22) has at least one inwards or outwards (12, 14, 16, 26) from the periphery (20, 14, 32) extending portion. The containers produced with the container wall may be bottles, cans, jars, disposable, cups, drinking glasses, barrels, and vases. Further, a process of producing a container wall of paper (10, 22) is described. In the process highly extensible Kraft paper is pressed between a hard form providing the shape of the container wall (10, 22), and a matching hard counter form; a soft flexible counter form which under pressure follows the shape of the hard form, and liquid or gas that under pressure forces the paper to follow the shape of the hard form.
Abstract: A method of making a dry defibered fluff pulp suitable for absorption products is described. In the making of fluff pulp bentonite (montmorillonite), and optionally an additional inorganic particle compound, such as a synthetic silicate compound, is added to the pulp in an amount that in the final fluff pulp yields an amount of bentonite of 0.2 to 7 kg per ton fluff pulp and optionally an amount of the additional inorganic particle compound of 0.2 to 7 kg per ton fluff pulp, the total amount of retained particle additives amounting to no more than 8 kg per ton fluff pulp. Moreover, a thus made fluff pulp for absorption products, an absorption core for absorption products comprising such dry defibered fluff pulp and optionally a superabsorbent, and an absorption product comprising such a dry defibered fluff pulp and/or an absorption core are described.

Abstract: A method of modifying the course of combustion when evaporated black liquor is burnt in the furnace cavity of a recovery boiler is described. The method implies that lime sludge is supplied to the furnace cavity whereby the course of combustion is modified so that the temperature in the furnace cavity is raised. Also use of a recovery boiler for simultaneous combustion of black liquor and processing of lime sludge is described. In one embodiment of this use is disclosed that the processing of lime sludge is performed so that increased formation of calcium sulphide in the smelt of inorganic chemicals, which is formed in the recovery boiler, is obtained and/or so that the lime sludge is calcined.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a package of paper or paperboard having a thin extruded polyethylene coating, which is degradable in a compost. Further, the invention also relates to a method of disposing of such a package by placing the package, with or without compostable contents, in a compost, and use of such a package for storage and transport of compostable waste, such as domestic waste.

Abstract: A method of producing white liquor having enhanced and/or reduced sulphidity in the recovery of chemicals in a sulphate pulp process is described. In the method one starts from a calcium sulphide rich smelt of inorganic chemicals, which has been obtained by simultaneous combustion of black liquor and processing of lime sludge. This smelt is treated with an aqueous solution, whereupon the calcium sulphide in the smelt is present in a solid form and the rest of the chemicals are in solution. Thereupon the solid calcium sulphide is separated and the obtained solution is processed as a green liquor in per se known manner to a white liquor having reduced sulphidity, whereupon optionally the separated solid calcium sulphide is mixed with the required amount of white liquor to a white liquor having enhanced sulphidity.
