    Abstract: A refrigerant processing device includes a main body, and a pipe and a narrow tube that feed a refrigerant into and out of the main body. The main body has a cylindrical body part, and upper and lower end wall parts that close both ends of the cylindrical body part. The pipe passes through the lower end wall part, and extends along a central axis of the cylindrical body part. The narrow tube passes through the upper end wall part. A first spiral groove extending in a spiral shape with respect to the central axis is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body part. A second spiral groove extending in a spiral shape with respect to the central axis and a linear groove extending in a direction of the central axis are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the pipe.

    Abstract: A four-roller type sizing mill apparatus for forming round steel rods, comprises two four-roller mills each having two pair of facing rollers. One pair of facing rollers is arranged in rolling direction perpendicular to the rolling direction of the other pair of rollers. The two four-roller mills are arranged in line, with the rolling direction of one of the two four-roller mills being shifted by 45.degree. from the rolling direction of the other four-roller mill. The two pair of rollers of a first four-roller mill positioned closer to the rolling material inlet are separated from each other by a distance which is greater than zero and not greater than five times the projected contact length of one of the pair of rollers positioned closer to the rolling material inlet.

    Abstract: A photographic processing apparatus for processing film includes processing units, such as developing, fixing and rinsing units, each of which is constructed to cause the film to be conveyed in a straight horizontal path between conveyance rollers, none of which are immersed in processing liquid. Each processing unit includes at least one processing chamber defining member extending longitudinally across the path of said film and carrying processing liquid in a chamber defined therein. The chamber is open to the moving film via an inlet slot and an exit slot. Pairs of conveyance rollers are positioned just upstream and just downstream of said inlet and outlet slots, respectively. Liquid conveyance means pumps a processing liquid through said chamber and picks up the processing liquid exiting the chamber via the slots and being squeezed off the film by the rollers.
