Abstract: An aqueous cleansing composition for keratin fibres comprises at least one amino acid surfactant and an aqueous emulsion of divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer. The amino acid surfactant 3 of the following structure wherein R1 is a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched alkyl chain with 7 to 17 C atoms, R2 is H or a methyl, R3 is H, COO?M+, CH2COO?M or COOH, n is 0 to 2, X is COO? or SO3? and M is independent from each other H, sodium or potassium, and an aqueous emulsion of divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer with an internal phase viscosity of more than 1×108 mm2/s measured at 0.01 Hz at about 25° C.
