    Abstract: The present invention provides a golf training aid that includes a shaft, a grip attached to the shaft and a weight for use in conjunction with the shaft, wherein the weight of the shaft and grip is less than that of a golf club for which training is being provided. The training aid permits both under and overweight training. In a further embodiment, the invention provides a golf training aid having two visually distinct regions.
