Patent number: 7344389Abstract: A contact pin for pressing into a through-connected hole of a printed circuit board is produced by forming. Its press-in portion has two contact legs spaced apart from one another by an elongate opening, are outwardly curved in their central region and, when pressed into the circuit board come to rest with plastic deformation on the wall of the hole. A portion for introduction into the hole includes at least two elongate portions resting on one another during introduction. These portions, after forming and before introduction into the hole adjoin the outwardly open elongate opening like fork prongs. As a formation projects into the opening at an edge thereof to form support regions which, after introduction of the contact pin into the hole, are located inside the hole, a contact pin and a method for the production thereof are provided, by punching in conformity with standards, with optimum extraction forces.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2007Date of Patent: March 18, 2008Assignee: Kramski GmbHInventor: Wiestaw Kramski

Patent number: 6918713Abstract: A cylindrical pin (1) for connecting and/or guiding components (A, B), particularly in tool, fixture, and machine construction is provided. In order to make the cylindrical pin yieldable in a radial direction and thereby allow for compensation for its manufacturing tolerance, the cylindrical pin is provided with an internal bore (4, 6) extending in the axial direction at least over a partial region (1a, 1c) of the pin.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2003Date of Patent: July 19, 2005Assignee: Kramski GmbHInventor: Wiestaw Kramski

Patent number: 6812418Abstract: A contact fastened in a contact element by opposite overlaps is provided. The contact is subsequently connected to the contact element with a laser or a special stamping.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2003Date of Patent: November 2, 2004Assignee: Kramski GmbHInventors: Wiestaw Kramski, Joachim Schweizer, Ewald Fretz

Patent number: 6727006Abstract: A method of production and/or processing of contact elements for electrical plug connectors is provided. The contact elements are fixed to a transport strip during the production and/or processing process. This transport strip is reduced in its material thickness after at least a portion of the production and/or processing process by deformation between the fixed positions of adjacent contact elements on the strip, so that the spacing between the fixed positions of adjacent contact elements is increased.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2003Date of Patent: April 27, 2004Assignee: Kramski GmbHInventor: Wiestaw Kramski

Patent number: 4543865Abstract: To permit punching of very small holes from a strip of sheet metal, for example to form a sequence of holes at the margin thereof, or to obtain small punched blanks, having diameters of a few millimeters, for example 1-2 mm or even less, and prevent adhesion of the punched blanks to a reciprocating punch plunger (1), the punch die (4) is formed with a shallow groove (8) in the wall of the opening (5) of a die, the groove extending either spirally or axially for the depth of penetration or stroke of the punch plunger. Upon withdrawal of the plunger, a small projection or nose which will have formed in the region of the groove will wedge or jam therein, thus preventing upward travel of the blank with the withdrawing reciprocating tool. Preferably, the opening is slightly conical, with a cone angle of, for example, about 1/2.degree. with respect to the axis (12) of the bore (5); a suitable angle of inclination for a spiral groove is, for example, 12.degree.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 1983Date of Patent: October 1, 1985Assignee: Kramski GmbH Prazisionswerkzeuge-MetallwarenInventor: Wiestaw Kramski
