Abstract: A paint curtain device is proposed in which object (13) to be painted are moved through a paint curtain (5) consisting of liquid paint. In order to make possible the optimal orientation of the objects (13) to be painted, while passing through the paint curtain (5) they are continuously fixed in place on holding means (25) of a conveying system (12) which crosses through the paint curtain (5) when passing through the area of a lateral edge (16). Furthermore, a method for painting objects (13) is proposed for whose execution the paint curtain device is suited.
