    Abstract: A fluid system has a variable displacement pump connected in a closed-loop circuit to a fluid cylinder having a piston and one connecting rod extending from the piston through an opposite side wall such that the effective pressure responsive areas on the opposite sides of the piston are unequal. The fluid system includes a circuit which permits an unequal displacement cylinder to be connected in a closed-loop circuit to a fluid pump.
