    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for reversibly supporting the seat of a vehicle. When a tractor or like vehicle is used for working with a backhoe or like work machine attached to the rear end of the vehicle, a forward operation seat and a rearward operation seat are conventionally needed and are therefore uneconomical. Furthermore, the work mahcine must be spaced from the vehicle body to avoid interference between the two sheets. This entails the problem of impairing the weight balance longitudinally of the vehicle. To overcome these problems, a support table is mounted on the vehicle body by a parallel link assembly which is pivotally movable longitudinally of the body, and a swivel table for supporting the seat thereon is mounted on the support table swivelably about a vertical shaft. Further provided is a lock for locking the swivel table against swiveling about the shaft, and unlocking device for unfastening the lock.

    Abstract: A heat storage composition excellent in heat storing effect contains calcium chloride hexahydrate as the main component and an appropriate amount of a nucleating agent combination for inhibiting supercooling which is composed of barium sulfide, barium chloride dihydrate and strontium chloride hexahydrate or of barium chloride dihydrate and strontium chloride hexahydrate and optionally contains an appropriate amount of a thickening agent combination composed of an ultrafine silica powder and glycerin. Latent heat storage capsules contain the above heat storage composition and are improved particularly in their structure such that improved heat storage and release effects can be produced. A temperature control apparatus can make most of the heat storage capsules in the temperature control of a hothouse or the like.

    Abstract: Process for treating sewage sludge at relatively low temperatures below 165.degree. C. under pressure. The sludge is heat treated in a reactor in which it is brought into close, uniform contact with air with the discharge of air bubbles from the reactor effectively prevented. The liquor separated from the treated sludge is treated by two steps of the activated sludge process. The malodorous gas produced during the treatment of sludge is also deodorized or incinerated. A fully closed treatment process is provided which does not cause any secondary pollution problem.

    Abstract: A prefabricated house is provided with ceiling panels that are the same size, have a longitudinal dimension equal to or greater than MP/m-D/m and a lateral dimension equal to or greater than NP/n-D/n where MP and NP are the longitudinal and lateral inside dimensions of the ceiling plane for one floor of the house, m and n are integers representing the number of ceiling panels longitudinally and laterally disposed, and D is the thickness of a partition panel, whereby upon assembly of the ceiling panels a gap of width less than D exists over the place where a partition wall is to be erected. Partition wall panels are also of uniform dimensions hence partition wall panels for doors are offset from the wall line to compensate for one wall thickness. The ceiling panels are provided with a unique construction which facilitates the installation of electrical wiring and hides all fasteners which fasten the ceiling panels to the ceiling joists.

Sludge is fed under pressure from mouthpieces into between double filter cloths put between a set of filter plates arranged side by side. The sludge is separated into filter cake and filtrate. The former remains between the double filter cloths and the latter passes through the filter cloth and is discharged from the side of the filter plates. The filter cake falls off the filter cloth when the filter plates are spread out to strain it.

    Abstract: Hydraulic double clutch comprising a tractor-driving clutch unit and a power takeoff clutch unit accommodated in a clutch housing serving also as an oil tank. Hydraulic pumps disposed in the housing have gears respectively meshing with a gear on the drive disk assembly of the double clutch to force the working oil into the clutch units through individual oil passages and to push the pistons of the units. Each of the oil passages is provided with a poppet valve at an intermediate portion thereof. The poppet valves are opened or closed to disengage or engage the clutch units independently of each other for interruption or transmission of the torque of engine. Each of the valves is automatically opened when the pressure on the piston builds up to excess and is therefore serviceable also as a pressure control valve. The valve is operable to bring the clutch unit into substantially semi-engaged state.
