    Abstract: A baler apparatus includes a cylindrical bale-forming chamber defined by a set of compression elements positioned around the circumference of the bale-forming chamber, and a drive mechanism configured to drive rotary movement of the compression elements. At least one of the rotary compression elements is configured to provide a reduced level of traction relative to a bale in the bale chamber, as compared to at least a majority of the other rotary compression elements.
