Abstract: The invention relates to a lightweight grounding contact for the transfer of currents between fixed vehicle elements of a rail vehicle and its rotating wheel axle, consisting of a plurality of contact elements (12), acted upon by a pressure in the direction toward the wheel axle, which element rests on a contact surface which originates at the wheel axle and is made of a carbon material. To achieve an always flat resting of the contact element on the contact surface, at least one contact element (12) is acted upon by pressure with a device (22) filled with a fluid (20).

Abstract: A load bearing device is disclosed, which includes a girder to support the load. The girder is accommodated in a housing connected to the load and can be pulled out from the house to engage a girder receptacle, which is fastened to a wall or the like. By means of this bearing device, it is possible to mount prefabricated structural elements such as stairway landings in easy manner.

Abstract: The articulated gangway forming part of a corridor between two vehicles or vehicle parts hinged together comprises: two or more stepping and gliding members which are hinged to each other; supporting elements between the stepping and gliding members, the stepping and gliding members being located generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the supporting elements and are movable by the supporting elements; and coiled spring elements on the supporting elements and between adjacent stepping and gliding members to return the stepping and gliding members to their original position after the articulated gangway has gone through a cornering maneuver.

Abstract: In connection with a portable folding receptacle of wallet format, made from a plastic material and being especially suited as multi-purpose portfolio, it is proposed to connect two half-shells by means of an elastic, integrally formed back hinge comprising longitudinally extending ridges with interposed film-joint hinge elements permitting smooth opening and closing of the receptacle. The receptacle may be equipped with folding inserts, in the manner of a book, or may be equipped in its interior with a ring-book mechanism.

Abstract: A crossing apparatus for use with a tunnel-shaped bellows mounted between two vehicles connected to one another in an articulated manner in which an apron bridges a gap between the side wall of the bellows and a turning platform. The apron has folds corresponding to the side walls. It also consists of material strips, two each of which are connected to one another at the longitudinal edges belonging to one another by apparatus of rail-like profiles. The apron-clamping profiles are brought together at their top ends with bellows-clamping profiles of the respective side wall. Each apron-clamping profile has, between its ends, a gap-bridging course located at a corresponding distance from the respective side wall. Each apron is a structural unit comprising a number of apron-clamping profiles and a material web. Each apron-clamping profile forms a frame which is closed in itself from two partial profiles. The grippers are rectangular as seen in a plan view and curved as seen in cross section. Tabs are associated with the grippers. Abstract: The invention concerns a transport and protective case for an information medium in particularly a minidisc. According to the invention, the parts of the case are integrally attached to one another by means of film hinges. In addition, snap-lock devices that are convenient to open are provided, in order to secure the lid in its position with respect to the case bottom when the case is closed.

Abstract: In connection with a multi-sectional storage receptacle for a plurality of plate-shaped record supports (floppy discs), accommodated in individual stiff partitions, which form a stack in the closed condition of the storage receptacle and are spread apart during the opening process, via their articulated connection elements, it is proposed to form the connection elements, which preferably have the form of flat connection bars, integrally with the partitions, connecting them to the latter on both sides via film joints, and to provide an additional joint at the middle of each connection element, by which the connection elements are folded back against themselves in the closed condition of the receptacle and which allow the storage receptacle to be displayed, in its open condition, in any spread-apart, stepped or rosette-like arrangement.

Abstract: The case of a composite propellent charge cartridge exhibits cracks, after shooting, at the sharp transition of the extractor rim. This has a disadvantageous effect on the number of possible reloadings. The present case permits frequent reloading with little reconditioning. A rotationally symmetrical molding is placed on the case, and at least partially forms the extractor rim. The surface of the case that is in contact with the molding is rounded and smoothed at least at highly stressed points. The reusable cartridge case, with the molding, is suitable for composite propellent charge cartridges.

Abstract: A connecting platform for use with the end of a railroad car, the platform cooperating with a connecting platform of another car articulated to the railroad car, both railroad cars having the usual spring-biased buffers. The connecting platform includes a platform part supported on the end of the railroad car and slidable with respect to the car in the longitudinal direction of the car, the end face of the platform part remote from the car and the end face of the buffer remote from the car being in substantially the same vertical plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the car. A linkage arrangement responds to movement of the buffer toward and away from the car for moving the platform part toward and away from the end of the car so as to maintain the end faces of the buffer and platform part in substantially the same vertical plane.

Abstract: An articulated bridge as a component of a detachable gangway floor plate between two articulated interconnected railroad cars, the bridge being provided with several elongated bridge elements arranged in succession laterally, and running transverse to the direction of the bridge. The articulated extremities of the bridge are defined by the side walls of a frame approximately following the contours of the bridge. One end section of the bridge is designed for attachment to one of the two interconnected railroad cars and the other end section of the bridge is designed for attachment to the corresponding end section of an articulated bridge of the other of the two interconnected railroad cars, both end sections running in the transverse direction of the bridge.
