Abstract: An enamel or paint touch-up kit for paint repair, expecially on automobiles, is disclosed consisting of an enamel container with a screw cap, the base of a touch-up brush extending into the container being attached to this screw cap. Additionally, a rust-removing tool is provided which is mounted, with its base in opposition to the base of the brush, to the screw cap and projecting away from the screw cap in the opposite direction with respect to the brush, and being accommodated in a hollow space formed by a protective cap seated on the screw cap and enclosing the rust-removing tool on all sides. This arrangement has the advantage that the screw cap can still be used, as before, as a handle for operating the touch-up brush. For a rust-removing operation, it is merely necessary to remove the protective cap of the novel enamel touch-up stick so that the container then serves as a handle for manipulating the rust-removing tool with the same being fixedly joined to this handle.
Abstract: Cylindrical containers for paint or the like of the type having a hollow container body, a cap, a brush attached to the cap, and an agitator for mixing the contents of the container is improved by constructing the agitator as a tubular hollow member that is mounted within the container so as to surround the brush attached to the cap and be axially displaceable relative thereto, the agitator member having ribs that are fashioned in the manner of blades of a fan wheel and are uniformly distributed about the periphery of the agitator member with its outer edges located on an imaginary cylinder, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the container body. According to preferred embodiments, the ribs of the agitator can either be twisted helically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the hollow member or can be straight blade vanes inclined at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the agitator.
Abstract: A safety cap for spray cans with the cap including an inner slotted cap part and an outer cap part surrounding the inner slotted cap part and being provided with a window located radially opposite a slot of the inner slotted cap part. A stop or limiting device is provided behind the slot of the inner slotted cap part for preventing a tool inserted through the window from contacting a valve body of the spray can.
