Abstract: Disclosed is an assembly for a dosing system of a spreader machine for distributing a granular material or the like, which comprises first and second members provided with first and second openings, respectively, and an actuator connected to at least one of the first and second members and configured to provide a driving force between the first and second members, thereby, adjusting an opening size of a dosing opening provided by an overlapping area between the first and second openings. The first and second members are moveable by relative movement into a first position providing the dosing opening with a first opening size and a second position, different from the first position, providing the dosing opening with a second opening size different from the first opening size, wherein a center portion of the dosing opening is locally fixed when the members are moved between the first and second positions.
Abstract: A boom mounting assembly for attachment to an agricultural machine is disclosed, which may comprise a primary frame, and a boom support frame configured to support a boom and being suspended from the primary frame to pivot in a transverse plane around a longitudinal axis of rotation provided in a pivot point. The boom support frame may comprise a first sub-frame connected to the primary frame; a second sub-frame supported by the first sub-frame in support sections provided on opposite sides of the pivot point in a transverse direction; and an actuator connected to the sub-frames and operable such that the support sections move relative to the pivot point to increase and decrease, in the transverse direction, a respective distance on opposite sides of the pivot point at the same time. Further, a method for controlling operation of a boom mounting assembly attached to an agricultural machine is provided.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating an agricultural spreader (1), comprising: providing a spreading material in a material reservoir (5) of an agricultural spreader (1); dosing the spreading material from the material reservoir (5) through a dosing opening (6); receiving the dosed spreading material by a spreader device (7); and spreading the dosed spreading material by the spreader device (7); the method further comprising: detecting digital image data by a monitoring device (4), the digital image data being indicative of a partial quantity of the spreading material located in the vicinity of the dosing opening (6) at the time of detecting the digital image data; and determining a material parameter for the partial quantity of the spreading material located in the vicinity of the dosing opening (6) from analyzing the digital image data by a control device (2). Furthermore, an arrangement for an agricultural spreader (1) system is provided.
