Abstract: A constant speed control method for a vehicle and a device thereof are disclosed. The constant speed control method includes steps of: firstly examining if a constant speed switch of the vehicle is pressed by an electronic control unit; allowing the electronic control unit to enter a constant speed mode when the constant speed switch is pressed; and sending a signal by the electronic control unit, so as to lock a throttle locking device for maintaining an opening degree of a throttle valve, and to adjust an transmission ratio of an electric continuously variable transmission (ECVT) for maintaining the constant speed driving of the vehicle. The present invention is further related to a constant speed control device for implementing the above method.
Abstract: An oil pump system is provided for a motorcycle, and includes at least one oil pump, a water pump, a drive shaft, a support frame, a drive gear, and an oil collector lid. The oil pump is supported by a crankshaft case and is coupled to the drive shaft. The drive shaft has an end section on which the drive gear is mounted. The drive gear is coupled to a crankshaft of an engine by a chain. The oil collector lid is arranged outside the drive gear. The water pump is coupled to the end of the drive shaft. Mechanical power is transmitted from the crankshaft, through the chain, to drive the drive gear and the drive shaft to also drive the water pump. The support frame is provided to rotatably support the drive shaft at a location spaced from the oil pump so as to form an enhanced support to the drive shaft and improve stability of operation and durability of the drive shaft.
Abstract: A vehicle transmission is adapted to transmit a power output from an engine unit to a wheel. The vehicle transmission includes a driving unit and a speed-changing unit. The driving unit includes a main box, a first driving mechanism disposed within the main box and adapted to be driven by the engine unit, and an output shaft driven by the first driving mechanism. The speed-changing unit includes an auxiliary box connected removably to the main box, a second driving mechanism disposed within the auxiliary box and driven by the output shaft, and an axle parallel to the output shaft and driven by the second driving mechanism. The axle is connected fixedly to the wheel, and extends into the auxiliary box.
Abstract: A gear-shifting safety device is provided for an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), including a gear lever, a gear-shifting hub shaft, a gear-shifting gear set, and a reversing bar. An end of the gear-shifting hub forms a step on which a block is provided. The block and the step form a stop face therebetween. The reversing bar has an end forming a stop section that is positionable on the step and is selectively in abutting engagement with the stop face so that to change to the reversing position, the reversing bar must be first actuated to disengage the stop section thereof from the stop face, allowing the switching fork to move to the reversing position on a position chute of the gear-shifting hub, thereby eliminating the damage of accidentally switching to reversing during the forward movement of the vehicle.
Abstract: A steering device for steering front wheels of a four-wheeled vehicle is disclosed, comprising a steering wheel, a steering column, a lower column, and a steering gear box. The lower column is coupled via universal joints to the steering column and the steering gear box. The steering gear box includes a housing in which a rack and a screw rod are accommodated. The rack has an end coupled via a spherical joint to a tie rod, which is jointed to the front wheel. The spherical joint includes an anti-loosening washer. The housing has an inside surface forming a step over which a sleeve is fit for being engageable with the anti-loosening washer of the spherical joint to form a constraint to an inward travel of the spherical joint of the tie rod into the housing so as to set a constraint to steering angle of the front wheel.
Abstract: A vehicle transmission includes a crankshaft extending through a seal cover and into an oil-storing end portion of a driven shaft. The oil-storing end portion of the driven shaft defines a lubricating space filled with lubricating oil, and extends into the seal cover. A unidirectional clutch is disposed in the lubricating space and outwardly of the seal cover.
Abstract: A vehicle shifting mechanism configured for actuation of a clutch and gear-shifting of a shift drum in a transmission is disclosed, which includes a camshaft linked to the shift drum; an actuating motor for driving the camshaft to allow the camshaft to make one revolution to shift the shift drum with one gear; and a cam connected to the camshaft to coaxially rotate with the camshaft and abutting against a release bearing actuating element to actuate engagement and disengagement of the clutch. The cam has a symmetrical contour such that the camshaft driven by the actuating motor is capable of making one unidirectional revolution to enable actuation of the clutch and the gear-shifting of the shift drum to occur concurrently.

Abstract: A handle-mounted parking brake device includes a parking brake lever movable between a first position, where a brake unit is disposed at a non-braking position for permitting rotation of a wheel axle of a vehicle, and a second position, where the brake unit is disposed at a braking position, and a cutoff switch having a mechanical switch body displaceable with movement of the parking brake lever between switch-on and switch-off positions, where a condenser discharge ignition is powered by and cut off from a DC power supply, respectively. Premature activation of a starter motor can be avoided to ensure cutoff of an engine when the vehicle is in a parking brake state so as to reliably prevent inadvertent operation to drive the vehicle.
Abstract: A tank holding frame for a vehicle body includes front and rear beams connected to the vehicle body, a first beam connected to the vehicle body and the front beam, a second beam connected removably to the vehicle body, and a guard member having at least one end connected removably to a respective one of the first and second beams. A fuel tank is removable from a tank holding space cooperatively defined by the front, rear, first, second beams, the guard member, and the vehicle body when the second beam and the guard member are detached from the tank holding frame.
Abstract: A vehicle transmission includes a crankshaft box unit, a clutch unit, and a transmission box unit. The crankshaft box unit includes a crankshaft box, a crankshaft extending through the clutch unit and into the transmission box unit, a driven shaft disposed in the transmission box unit and having an end sleeved on a connecting end of the crankshaft, and a bearing disposed between the crankshaft and the driven shaft. The clutch unit includes a seal cover disposed in proximity to the crankshaft box, and a wet clutch disposed between the seal cover and the crankshaft box. The crankshaft extends through the seal cover. The connecting end of the crankshaft is disposed in a transmission box of the transmission box unit.
Abstract: A cooling structure for a continuous variation transmission system of an all-terrain vehicle which includes a radiator mounted at a front end of the vehicle and under a front body cover, a hood enclosing the radiator, a gearbox having an inlet and an outlet, the inlet being connected with an inlet conduit for drawing outside cool air into the gearbox, the outlet being connected with an exhaust conduit for discharging hot air from the gearbox, wherein the inlet conduit has an inlet end mounted between the hood and the front body cover and shielded by the hood and the front body cover, whereby the cooling structure can effectively prevent water, dirt and dust from entering the gearbox and are simple in construction and easy to assemble and maintain.
