    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing a zinc oxide semiconductor. The method comprises the steps of forming a zinc oxide thin film including a group V element as a dopant on a substrate by using a zinc oxide compound containing a group V element or an oxide thereof, charging the substrate having the zinc oxide thin film formed thereon into a chamber for thermal annealing, and thermal annealing the substrate in the chamber to activate the dopant, thereby changing the zinc oxide thin film exhibiting n-type electrical properties or insulator properties to a zinc oxide thin film exhibiting p-type electrical properties.

    Abstract: The figure-8 optical fiber pulse laser according to the present invention produces stable femto-second optical pulses using DI-NOLM. The optical amplifier is not included in DI-NOLM, instead, it is located at the unidirectional linear loop part. And the noise due to the bidirectional gain difference of the optical amplifier is reduced. Two optical fibers of different dispersion values are used at DI-NOLM. Therefore, the present invention provides a figure-8 optical fiber pulse laser using DI-NOLM improving the switching characteristic. Especially, the stable femto-second laser according to the present invention is applicable for the many applications such as high-speed reaction measurements, laser treatments, and medical lasers.

    Abstract: A method for coating a phosphor on a flat display using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) and lithography is provided. In the method, an adhesive strength can be enhanced without passing through a high-temperature thermal treatment process as a post-process. Phosphor powders are coated on a substrate by a field emission display (FED) and then a ultraviolet (UV) curable layer is coated. Then, an adhesive strength of the phosphor can be greatly enhanced through UV irradiation, in comparison with a post-process such as a thermal treatment process. Also, the UV curable layer can be lithographically etched by the UV light, and thus the phosphor can be coated by a predetermined pattern, to then be applied to a next-generation display such as a FED or PDP as an optimal method for full color realization.

The object of the present invention is to improve the speed characteristic of an MSM photodetector by using a HEMT structure incorporating a low-temperature grown semiconductor. The use of a HEMT structure incorporating a low-temperature grown semiconductor can reduce the number of holes reaching the metal electrode of MSM detectors, resulting in reduced hole current. As a result, the photocurrent response of the MSM detector using a HEMT structure incorporating a low-temperature grown semiconductor is dominated by electron current, resulting in a significant improvement in speed performance.
