Abstract: A method and device for identifying the washing quality of a feather material are applied to a feather material washing apparatus and essentially entail: a sampling unit that takes an appropriate amount of the water discharged from the feather material washing apparatus as a water sample, an impurity removing module that removes feather fiber and impurities that may compromise inspection accuracy, and a laser sensing device that senses, while the water sample is static, a transparency value of a portion of the water sample that extends across a predetermined distance, in order to identify the washing quality of a washed feather material. The method and device for identifying the washing quality of a feather material exercise intelligent judgment to enable a consistent standard, to ensure the efficiency and quality of a feather material washing procedure, and to reduce the associated costs.

Abstract: A clothing pattern making management system, applicable to a server and used for allowing users to connect and manage a plurality of clothing pattern making data via a network, at least including a database and a login and authority management module, a search and viewing module, a connection and upload module, and a management and download module. Through the data connection to a business system, the system is able to facilitate the users to perform data upload and management in order to achieve proper preservation and management of a large quantity of pattern drawings for various styles of clothes and for all stages, and to achieve the effects of learning exchange and passing on of techniques.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing absorbent material from bird feather includes the steps of selecting an appropriate feather material, perform a pre-treatment for cleaning and sterilizing the feather material, crushing the feather material into a crushed material of a size of 0.1 um˜1 cm, and performing a modification treatment of the crushed material by surface activation to produce an absorbent material. After the crushed feather material is processed by a modification treatment, the material may be used to manufacture an absorbent material having both deodoring and filtering functions for adsorbing metal ions, organic solvents, grease or volatile gases.

Abstract: A method for producing water repellent down includes soaking cleaned down in an aqueous solution having a pH ranging from 4 to 7; adding to the solution a cross-linking agent composed of a material having an isocyanate or acrylic acid functional group to provide a solution having a weight ratio of the down and the cross-linking agent ranging between 1:0.005 and 1:0.06; adding to the solution a water-drawing agent composed of a material having a siloxane functional group to provide a solution having a weight ratio of the down and the water-drawing agent ranging between 1:0.01 and 1:0.1; stirring the solution for at least 15 minutes to react the cross-linking agent and the water-drawing agent and form a water repellent layer on the surface of the down; separating the down from the solution; and oven drying the down with hot air having a temperature of at least 120° C.

Abstract: The water repellent down production method of the present invention includes: reacting a water-drawing agent including a fluorocarbon or siloxane functional group with a cross-linking agent by means of a soaking process, such that an intact and long lasting water repellent layer would be formed on the surface of the down. The present invention method is simple and convenient, has highly efficient production capacity, effectively overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art, and the water repellent down produced with this method can be widely used in every kind of down products, and it prevents agglomeration of down due to getting wet, in a favorable and long-lasting manner, so that it maintains the fluffiness and heat retention characteristics of the down.

Abstract: A method for mixing short staple and down cluster by a dry processing utilizes an air tool to blow the short staple over, so that the scattered short staple is mixed in the down cluster. Stirring blades are further applied for stirring. Chemical agents are needless, no pollution is generated, and processing time is preferably reduced since the mixture does not have to be soaked in the chemical agent. Both the processing time and the manufacturing cost are decreased. Preferably, a proportion of the short staple to the down cluster is adjustable for different needs and divergent warmth retaining effects.

Abstract: A down-feather and manmade fiber filled product has an outer layer, an inner layer, and a filler filled between the outer layer and the inner layer. The filler is formed by agitating dry down-feathers and manmade fibers with a predetermined ratio in an agitating chamber. The sizes of the fibers are between 0.71 deniers to 0.91 deniers and lengths are between 22 to 26 mm. A plurality of lattices with sizes of 8 inches×10 inches are formed on the outer layer and inner layer. A weight ratio of the fiber is below 50% of the filler. Furthermore, a down-feather and manmade fiber mixed filler is disclosed. The filler is formed by agitating dry down-feathers and manmade fibers with a predetermined ratio in an agitating chamber; sizes of the manmade fibers being between 0.71 deniers to 0.91 deniers and a length between 22 to 26 mm.
