  • Publication number: 20130076670
Abstract: A dual-mode tablet and a detecting and switching method for input signals thereof are provided. The dual-mode tablet includes an electromagnetic induction module and a touch input module. The microprocessor controls the electromagnetic induction module to electronically connect to an induction coil group and detects whether any electromagnetic signal is received. After the electromagnetic induction module receives one electromagnetic signal completely, the microprocessor controls the touch input module to electronically connect to the induction coil group. When the microprocessor receives a touch input signal, the microprocessor alternately controls one of the electromagnetic induction module and the touch input module to electronically connect to the induction coil group. When the microprocessor detects one electromagnetic signal is received, the electromagnetic induction module electronically connects to the induction coil group continuously until the electromagnetic signal is received completely.

  • Publication number: 20130050142
Abstract: A method for operating an electret input device includes the following steps. An input signal is received. It is determined whether a voltage level of the input signal is greater than a first preset value. If the voltage level is greater than the first preset value, the voltage level is compared with a second preset value to determine whether the input signal is an effective signal. If the input signal is the effective signal, the position value of the input signal is obtained. Then, the position value is compared with a preset position value to determine an input state of the electret input device. Finally, the input signal is converted to an output signal to be outputted.

  • Publication number: 20130027301
Abstract: An operation method and a control system for multi-touch control are provided. A map positioner and a map block are set in a display region, and the position of a cursor is set according to an input signal of an operation region. The position of a fast positioner set in the operation region corresponds to the position of the map positioner. The position of the cursor is shifted according to a motion vector inputted by an input device, and the position of the map block is reset. The map block and the cursor are shifted to the map positioner when the input device receives a trigger signal of the fast positioner. An object in the map block is selected, a multi-touch function is enabled, and the operation property of the object is changed according to a relative shift quantity formed by a first and a second control points.

  • Publication number: 20120050182
Abstract: A control signal generating method for an input device is presented. The input device includes a pointing device and a sensing device, and the pointing device sends an electromagnetic signal to the sensing device. In the method, the electromagnetic signal received by the sensing device has different strengths according to different distances between the pointing device and the sensing device. The strength of the electromagnetic signal may be further converted to a parameter. A user may adjust the distance between the pointing device and the sensing device when operating the pointing device, thereby generating a parameter to control a computer.
