Abstract: Provided is an image forming apparatus that is capable of solving a problem caused at a discharge part in quick, effective manner. The discharge part is for placing a discharged printed matter. A camera captures an image of a sheet stacking surface of the discharged printed matter. A delivery decision processing part determines, based on the image captured by the camera, a current condition of the discharged printed matter that is placed in the discharge part. Then, the delivery decision processing part takes a specified action in response to the determination result.
