Abstract: According to the present invention, there is disclosed an improved synthetic resin temple for eyeglasses having: a longitudinal core member; one half-hinge piece with an eye plate formed thereon; and synthetic resin covering, where the front end portion of the core member is fitted to a groove on the outward surface of the one half-hinge piece, the core member and the half-hinge piece are coupled together by molding with the synthetic resin covering, with a butt end face formed at the front end portion of the temple by cutting, for holding the temple against the lens-frame at the butt end face.
