  • Publication number: 20140067336
Abstract: A system and method for producing a quote for an insulated panel structure. The system comprises a user terminal device in communication with one or more computing devices. The user terminal device includes a sketch facility that enables a user to interactively develop a sketch of a design of said insulated panel structure on a display of the user terminal device. An optimizing program and an auto-design program run on the computing devices and provide an optimization of the design and an engineering drawing of the design to the user terminal device for incorporation into the quote.

  • Publication number: 20130149477
Abstract: The structural panels of the present disclosure have vacuum-sealed panels within an interior volume. The interior volume also comprises cured foam. The vacuum-sealed panels have filler material and empty space therein, which makes the structural panel lighter than other panels that are filled completely with foam. The air within the vacuum-sealed panels also provides insulation against heat loss.

  • Patent number: 7752822
Abstract: A framing member has a first structural member being made from a first resilient material with the first structural member having a base portion and a first flange arm portion at an end thereof. The first flange arm portion is connected to the base portion and the base portion has a curved notch. The curved notch is adjacent to the first flange arm. The framing member has a second flange extending from the curved notch with a second insulating material contacting a portion of the first flange arm, the base portion, the second flange, and the curved notch. The second insulating material prevents heat transfer through the framing member.
