Abstract: A gangway for transferring personnel and equipment from a first device to a second device which are able to move relative to each other. The gangway includes gangway sections which are telescopically movable relative to each other, a first end section of the gangway being mounted on the first device, a second end section of the gangway being movable and mountable to the second device. The first end section of the gangway, in a region thereof, is mounted in a support frame suspended within a gyro arrangement maintaining the gangway in a substantially horizontal plane. The gyro arrangement is located on a turning plate foundation mounted on the first device and the second end section of the gangway is provided with connector means for interconnection with the second device.
