Abstract: The invention concerns a method for producing a hydrogen-enriched gas stream from at least one gas stream comprising for the major part hydrogen and a gas stream comprising hydrogen and hydrocarbons, using a pressure-modulated gas adsorption unit, the temperature of the gas stream comprising hydrogen and hydrocarbons being first lowered so as to condense the hydrocarbons.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of generating power and heat, employing: a cogeneration system comprising: a gas turbine generating power and combustion gases and a heat recovery unit fed with water and heating said water by recovering the heat from the combustion gases coming from the gas turbine; and a thermal power plant fed with water preheated by a degasifier, said degasifier being fed with cold water at a temperature below the temperature of the water feeding the heat recovery unit of the cogeneration system, and in which the cold water feeding the degasifier of the thermal power plant, before being preheated by the degasifier, is preheated by heat exchange with the water feeding the heat recovery unit of the cogeneration system.

Abstract: A method of producing hydrogen and extracting heavy oil from underground reserves is provided. This method includes providing a carbon monoxide source stream and a water vapor stream to a first reactor, wherein the first reactor comprises a water shift reactor and a membrane-type separation device. This method also includes separating the products of the water shift reactor, thereby producing at least a hydrogen-rich stream, and a high pressure off-gas stream. This method also includes providing the high pressure off-gas stream and an oxidant stream to a combustion chamber. This method also includes combusting the oxidant stream and the high pressure off-gas stream as at least part of a combustion cycle thereby producing a hot injection gas stream. This method also includes combining the hot injection gas stream with a liquid water stream, wherein the combined stream may be used to heat the underground reserve sufficiently to release petroleum hydrocarbons therefrom.

Abstract: A process for separating air by cryogenic distillation in a column system comprising a high pressure column and a low pressure column comprises compressing all the feed air in a first compressor to a first outlet pressure, sending a first part of the air at the first outlet pressure to a second compressor and compressing the air to a second outlet pressure, cooling at least part of the air at the second outlet pressure in a heat exchanger liquefying at least part of the air at the second outlet pressure and sending the liquefied air to at least one column of the column system wherein at least 50% of the liquefied air sent to the column system has been compressed in the second compressor, cooling a second part of the air at the first outlet pressure in the heat exchanger and expanding at least part of the second part of the air in an expander from the first outlet pressure to the pressure of a column of column system and sending the expanded air to that column, at least partially vaporizing an auxiliary fluid,

Abstract: This invention is related to a method for encapsulating bond regions in electronic components comprising, for example, metallic bond regions, the method comprising the steps of exposing an electronic component having at least one bond region through a primary gas atmosphere comprising unstable or excited gaseous species, the gaseous species being substantially devoid of any electrical charges, the primary gas atmosphere having a pressure ranging from about 0.5×105 Pa to about 3.0×105 Pa, thereby forming a treated, non-encapulated electronic component, then encapsulating the electronic component.
