Abstract: A keyboard for quickly activating instant messaging (IM) on the Internet, the keyboard having a hot key installed thereon or any one of existing keys on said keyboard acting as a preset key, said hot key or said preset key working with an instant messenger executed on a computer and coupling with a speech I/O device to quickly activate transmission or reception of instant messages on the Internet with one single key, thereby implementing IM capabilities of the present invention.

Abstract: The invention provides a kind of UPS with a built-in USB. The invention consists of a cover, a control circuit of UPS, a USB hub circuit, an electric transformer and a rechargeable battery. The cover has at least one control button and signal light. The control circuit of the UPS has a USB power conversion circuit to transform 12V current of the UPS to 5V current power for working voltage supply by the USB hub circuit. The UPS connects to computer devices through a USB cable and utilizes a power control software on the computer to monitor power supply of the UPS.

Abstract: An adapter for use with circular saws to provide a ready cut-off or "chop saw" capability. The adapter is comprised of a flat base having adjustable jaws for gripping of bar stock. Hinged to the flat base is a clamping plate for clamping a circular saw to support it in an arc-like movement from a rest position to an operative cut-off position. The clamping plate has a deep groove receiving a base of the circular saw which may be readily clamped therein.
