Abstract: Cosmetic process for smoothing the skin and/or the lips, for restoring volume to the face and/or the lips, and/or for reducing and/or filling wrinkles, comprising applying a composition comprising an aqueous phase and: a first cosmetic ingredient with one or more polyglycerols with 3-10 glycerol units and an average molecular weight of 200-600 g/mol, a second cosmetic ingredient which is different from the first with one or more polyglycerols with 3-10 glycerol units and an average molecular weight of 300-1000 g/mol, and optionally also a third cosmetic ingredient which is different from the first and from the second and comprises one or more polyglycerols which have 3-10 glycerol units and an average molecular weight of 200-1,000 g/mol, where the average molecular weight of the polyglycerols in the second cosmetic ingredient is at least 100 g/mol higher than the average molecular weight of the polyglycerols of the first cosmetic ingredient.
Abstract: A system that facilitates adjustment of a strap attached to a cosmetic applicator configured for users with limited mobility. The system allows adjustment via a single hand if needed, and can be used by users missing one or more digits. The strap adjustment system includes a housing cap, a strap, a locking feature, and a roller wheel, the locking feature disposed on a first side of a chamber formed by the housing cap and an end of the cosmetic applicator, the roller wheel disposed on a second side of the chamber, and the strap configured to pass through the chamber with the locking feature configured to contact a first side of the strap and lock the strap against locking edges of the chamber. The roller wheel is configured to unlock the strap and adjust the strap via rotation of the roller wheel.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing cyclic anhydride, in particular succinic anhydride and methylsuccinic anhydride from a ?-lactone, in particular ?-propiolactone and ?-butyrolactone, respectively, in the presence of carbon monoxide, catalyzed by dicobalt octacarbonyl [Co2(CO)8], in an organic solvent. The invention also relates to the use of this method in the manufacture of food additives, plasticizers, polymers of interest in particular polyesters, polyurethanes and elastanes, resins, coatings, pharmaceutical products.
