Abstract: The instant disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions that when applied to skin instantaneously and dramatically improve the appearance of the skin. The compositions include volatile hydrocarbon oil; mineral thickening agents; silicone elastomers; and hydrophobic film forming polymers; wherein the weight ratio of the total amount of hydrophobic film forming polymers to the total amount of mineral thickeners (film forming polymers:mineral thickening agent) is 1:1 to 8:1, and the weight ratio of the total amount of silicone elastomer to the total amount of mineral thickener (silicone elastomer:mineral thickening agent) is 1:1 to 5:1. Methods for improving the appearance of skin comprising application of the cosmetic compositions to the skin are also disclosed.

Abstract: A destacker unit for a destacking system is for destacking objects with a flange that are stacked together, such as a stack of trays, containers, cups or other objects. A destacking system includes at least one destacker unit for repeated destacking of one tray at a time in a predetermined direction. A stack of objects each having a flange extending outwards along its perimeter may be destacked in a predetermined direction by rotational motion of the destacker unit. The destacker unit may include a wheel unit, having a threaded rotation axis, including: a lower surface for carrying the stacked objects, and an inclined member located above the lower surface and having an inclined upper surface and a bottom surface. Abstract: There is provided methods, devices and techniques to process an image using a deep learning model to achieve continuous effect simulation by a unified network where a simple (effect class) estimator is embedded into a regular encoder-decoder architecture. The estimator allows learning of model-estimated class embeddings of all effect classes (e.g. progressive degrees of the effect), thus representing the continuous effect information without manual efforts in selecting proper anchor effect groups. In an embodiment, given a target age class, there is derived a personalized age embedding which considers two aspects of face aging: 1) a personalized residual age embedding at a model-estimated age of the subject, preserving the subject's aging information; and 2) exemplar-face aging basis at the target age, encoding the shared aging patterns among the entire population.
