Abstract: An electronic system includes an electronic device having a stack of layers, the stack including a first electrode, a subassembly with electrically controllable remanent states, a two-dimensional electron gas, a magnetic subassembly comprising at least one magnetic layer, and a second electrode having two first contacts and a second contact. The system also includes a writing device writing remanent states by applying an electric field between the two electrodes, and a Hall-effect reading device reading the remanent state by applying a current between the two first contacts and by measuring the voltage between the second contact and a reference potential.

Abstract: A method for retrofitting an existing steam methane reformer (SMR) for ammonia cracking is provided. In this embodiment, the existing SMR can include a pre-reformer, a desulfurization unit, a furnace, waste heat recovery sections, a water gas shift reactor, a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit, wherein the furnace has a plurality of SMR tubes and a plurality of burners. In certain embodiments, the method can include the steps of: providing the existing SMR; taking the desulfurization unit offline such that no fluid flows through the desulfurization during operation; taking the pre-reformer offline such that no fluid flows through the pre-reformer during operation; and adding means for providing a gaseous ammonia stream to the SMR tubes.

Abstract: A method of conditioning MoCl5 comprises heating a container of MoCl5 to a temperature ranging from approximately 140° C. to 190° C. for a period ranging from approximately 2 hours to approximately 100 hours to produce a MoCl5-containing composition comprising approximately 10% weight to approximately 60% weight of Phase 1 MoCl5 and 90% weight to approximately 40% weight of Phase 2 MoCl5 as determined by X-ray diffraction. This MoCl5-containing composition is expected to be more thermally stable and provides stable vapor supply.

Abstract: A packaging device, of longitudinal axis, is for a cosmetic product refill fitted with a pump dispenser system. The device includes a case provided with a cavity for accommodating the refill. Abstract: A detection device for a coherent imaging system includes a detector comprising a matrix array of pixels, each pixel comprising a photodetector component having a photosensitive surface, the detector being designed to be illuminated by a coherent beam, called the image beam consisting of grains of light called speckle grains, a matrix array of transmissive deflecting elements configured to be individually orientable by means of an electrical signal, so as to deflect a fraction of the image beam incident on the group, and thus modify the spatial distribution of the speckle grains in the plane of the photosensitive surface, each group of one or more pixels further comprising a feedback loop associated with the deflecting element and configured to actuate the deflecting element so as to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio from the light detected by the one or more photodetector components of the group of pixels, the feedback loop comprising a feedback circuit.

Abstract: A skin care composition includes a gel stabilized emulsion comprising a combination of actives that include azelaic acid, at least one hydroquinone derivative, and niacinamide, at least one anionic polymer thickener, and at least one fatty compound. The provides a hydrating formula that is comfortable for the wearer and is oil free, without appearing shiny or greasy on the skin, and includes actives to treat the appearance of dark spots and inflammatory lesions, including acne, for all skin types. The skin care composition is free or essentially free of monoalcohols, silicones, silicone oils, and oils other than fatty compounds that comprise emollient esters, hydrogenated polyisobutene, and squalane.
