Abstract: The subject of the invention is a process for treating lignocellulosic biomass comprising the following steps: a) conditioning the lignocellulosic biomass, b) washing said particles, c) separating the aqueous solution from the washed biomass particles, d) impregnating said lignocellulosic substrate with an acid liquor, e) carrying out a solid/liquid separation of the impregnated lignocellulosic substrate, f) pretreating said substrate from step e) by cooking, g) carrying out an enzymatic hydrolysis of the pretreated lignocellulosic substrate, h) carrying out a fermentation of the hydrolyzate from step g), and introducing the used aqueous washing solution into a step of said biomass treatment process which is after the pretreatment step f), and/or into an enzyme production step and/or into a step of producing/propagating the microorganisms necessary for steps g) or h).

Abstract: Glaucoma treatment systems are disclosed. In various example, the glaucoma treatment systems include a body and a fluid conduit configured to facilitate an evacuation of fluid, such as aqueous humor, from a fluid-filled body cavity, such as an anterior chamber of an eye. In some examples, the fluid conduit is soft and compliant, and the glaucoma treatment system includes one or more stiffening members coupled with the fluid conduit to temporarily stiffen the fluid conduit and help aid in the delivery of the glaucoma treatment device. In some examples, the stiffening members are removable from the fluid conduit after the glaucoma treatment system has been implanted.
Abstract: A method for estimating a dose rate, based on measurements taken by a gamma camera, the gamma camera defining an observation field. The estimated dose rate originates from irradiating sources located in the observation field, the irradiating sources emitting ionizing electromagnetic radiation, and the observation field is discretized into a mesh. The gamma camera comprises pixels, each pixel being configured to detect the ionizing electromagnetic radiation, during an acquisition time, and form an energy spectrum therefrom such that together the pixels allow a position of the irradiating sources in the observation field to be obtained in one energy band or in a plurality of energy bands. The method comprising estimating a dose rate generated, at the gamma camera, by points of the mesh.
