Patents Assigned to Laboratoire Innothera
  • Patent number: 7617072
Abstract: The device comprises means for taking a height measurement (H) and a plurality of circumference measurements (b, c, g) on the limb of the patient at different predetermined z-positions (zb, zc, zg). A first data file includes the coordinates (X0, Y0, Z0) of a first mesh of points (24) representative of the morphological characteristics of a reference limb, these points being distributed over the surface of the reference limb along a succession of outlines (26) defined at different successive Z-positions. Morphology generator means recalculate the coordinates of the first mesh of points as a function of the height measurement (H) and of the circumference measurements (b, c, g) in such a manner as to produce a second data file comprising the coordinates (x, y, z) of a second mesh of points (52) representative of morphological characteristics of the patient's limb.

  • Patent number: 7270642
Abstract: A tubular sleeve (40) comprises an anterior portion (16) of inextensible material that comes to bear against the tibial ridge, and a posterior portion (18) of extensible material covering the region to be compressed. These two portions are connected together along two connection generator lines (20). Inflatable balloons (22) are disposed on the inside face of the anterior portion, being interposed between the inextensible material and the tibial crest. Means (24, 26, 28) are provided for inflating each of the balloons differently to a respective given pressure so as to apply deformation to the anterior portion of the sleeve that is suitable for inducing a traction force that is exerted on the extensible posterior portion; this force is distributed regularly along the generator lines and acts perpendicularly thereto, and consequently leads to compression action on the compressible region of the limb.

  • Patent number: 6664296
Abstract: This galenical formulation which comprises first an outer envelope including gelatin and secondly a non-aqueous liquid or semi-liquid internal phase containing an active principle in solution is characterized in that the active principle is constituted by a spermicide and in that the internal phase includes, in addition to the active principle: a major proportion of a lipophilic agent compatible with the rubber latex of a condom; in minor proportion at least one hydrodispersible agent; at least one bioadhesion agent; and at least one agent for gelling the lipophilic agent. This galenical formulation for vaginal use provides the known advantages of the soft capsule, having properties that are simultaneously spermicidal, antiseptic, and lubricating, and in addition it is reliably compatible with condoms, without any risk of damaging the rubber latex thereof.

  • Patent number: 6610325
Abstract: This pharmaceutical medicine comprises an iron salt, not less than two polyols, a binding agent, a lubricating agent, and a flavoring agent. The dose of elemental iron is not less than 5 mg, and preferably 10 mg to 15 mg per tablet. The proportion of one of the polyols on its own is not less than 10%, and preferably not less than 20% of the total mass of the tablet, the overall proportion of the polyols being not less than 50% and preferably not less than 75%. One of the two polyols is xylitol, comprising not less than 10%, and preferably not less than 20%. The other polyol is sorbitol and/or mannitol.

  • Publication number: 20020193355
Abstract: The therapeutic combination comprises as its associated active ingredients calcium in elemental form and at least one vitamin D. It also contains at least one dry and moist binder combined in synergistic quantity with at least one diluant, at least one binder, and at least one lubricant, at least one of said diluant and said binder being a sweetening agent. Advantageously, the ratio of calcium in elemental form to vitamin D, expressed in mg of elemental Ca per IU of vitamin D lies in the range 1 to 1.5, and preferably in the range 1.2 to 1.3.

  • Patent number: 6262095
Abstract: The invention concerns the therapeutic use of tricyclic salts and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts having the general formula: in which: A is either a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom, or an R3N radical where R3 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-C5 alkyl radical, or a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaromatic ring. R1 is either a C1-C5 alkyl radical, or an R4NH radical where R4 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-C5 alkyl radical, or a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaromatic ring, or an aromatic ring that may or may not be substituted by one or more acceptor or donor groups, or a heteroaromatic ring having one or more heteroatoms, which may or may not be substituted by acceptor or donor groups.

  • Patent number: 6060077
Abstract: A galenical formulation is intended for local, essentially non systemic, treatment of vaginal dryness, in particular in the menopausal woman. It comprises a free natural estrogen, in particular a micronized or vectorized estrogen, selected from 17.beta.-estradiol and its salts in solution or in suspension in a lipophilic agent, with an estrogen content which corresponds to an equivalent unit dose of at most 15 .mu.g, preferably less than 10 .mu.g, of 17.beta.-estradiol, a hydrophilic gel-forming bioadhesive agent, a gelling agent for the lipophilic agent and a hydrodispersible agent. The soft capsule form comprises a hard or soft outer envelope containing gelatin and glycerine and a non aqueous liquid or semi-liquid inner phase containing the lipophilic agent with the estrogen in solution or in suspension, the bioadhesive agent and the hydrophilic gelling agent for the lipophilic agent.
