Abstract: The present invention relates to a support system particularly intended for treatment and prevention of diseases of venous origin, characterized in that it comprises a first support layer, which is composed of an elastic band attached across its entire surface to an absorbent layer, and a second support layer, which is a self-adhesive elastic band. This support system has a dynamic coefficient of elasticity of between 5 and 55 Newton/cm.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel system for applying dressings, said dressings comprising a thin film (1) coated on one face with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (2) and said application system being constituted by a detachable combination of another thin film (4) and a frame (5), thus avoiding problems with degradations to the adhesive bond between the skin and the dressing.
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel solid emulsions, characterised in that they comprise a thermoplastic elastomer of poly(styrene-olefin-styrene) block copolymer type, an aqueous phase, an oily phase and an amphiphilic copolymer. The invention also relates to the use of these novel solid emulsions notably for the preparation of products for medical, dermatological or cosmetological purposes which come into contact with a wound, skin or mucous membranes.
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel hydrophilic adhesive compositions, characterised in that they comprise a thermoplastic elastomer of poly(styrene-olefin-styrene) block copolymer type, a tackifying product, a liquid plasticizer, water and un amphiphilic copolymer. The invention also relates to the use of these novel hydrophilic adhesive compositions as adhesives for fixing any type of product, and notably products for medical, dermatological or cosmetological purposes, which come into contact with a wound, the skin or the mucous membranes.
