Abstract: Fire flooding and extinguishing agents and detoxifiers which are environmentally safe and non-toxic in both natural form and in fire exposed degraded forms are disclosed. The flooding and streaming-type fire extinguishing agents are rich in low boiling, unsaturated fluorocarbon compounds having low liquid viscosities, and low boiling alkenes as detoxifying agents. The detoxifiers are conjugated double bond hydrocarbons.
