    Abstract: Video recording system assemblies are adapted to facilitate capture of 360° images. According to one example, a video recording system assembly may include a frame, including a first vertical mount located at a first vertical end, a second vertical mount located at a second vertical end opposite from the first vertical end, and a horizontal mount located between the first vertical mount and the second vertical mount. At least one digital video camera and/or camera enclosure may be coupled to the first vertical mount. Similarly, at least one digital video camera and/or camera enclosure may be coupled to the second vertical mount. Six digital video cameras and/or camera enclosures may be coupled to the horizontal mount in a triangular configuration, with two digital video cameras and/or camera enclosures on each side.     Abstract: Fulldome image projection systems are adapted to facilitate projection of images onto a dome screen to create an immersive virtual environment. According to one example, an image projection system may include a fulldome screen formed at least substantially as a spherical cap. A plurality of sidewall projectors may be positioned within the screen and spaced from each other in a generally circular shape. The plurality of sidewall projectors may be oriented in an angular projection configuration. At least one zenith projector may be oriented to project images toward at least a portion of a zenith of the fulldome screen. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

    Abstract: Stereoscopic 360° video recording devices are adapted to facilitate capture of stereoscopic 360° images. According to one example, a stereoscopic 360° video recording device may include an enclosure with three sides of equal length in a triangular configuration. Six digital camera slots may be included within the enclosure, with each of the three sides including two digital camera slots. A fan may be coupled to a surface of the enclosure to facilitate cooling of digital cameras retained within the enclosure. A digital video camera may be secured within each of the digital camera slots, wherein each digital video camera includes a predefined interaxial distance from a respective digital video camera on its left and a respective digital video camera on its right.
