    Abstract: The invention provides a liquid cosmetic suitable for application to the lips which comprises about 60% to about 80% of an alcoholic solvent; about 2% to about 20% of a vinyl acetate copolymer; about 0.10% to about 5% of a non-toxic glycol; about 0.09% to about 10% of cyclomethicone and aluminum magnesium hydroxide stearate; about 1% to about 7% decamethyl cyclopentasiloxane and trimethylsilicate; and about 0.01% to about 5% of a dye or pigment.
