Abstract: A lamp having a hollow clear body supported between a base and a cap, a hollow pipe carrying an electrical cord and a light socket dispensed internally of said hollow clear body between said base and said cap and removable through the open upper end of said body to allow the body to become free standing so that a color bearing material can be applied to the internal surface of the clear body.

Abstract: A floor lamp which is constructed of a plurality of elongated members having a plurality of rings affixed to an interior surface of each of the elongated members to provide a substantially circular arrangement with a translucent shade extending substantially along the entire length of the elongated members with a stem secured to and extending upwardly from a base and supporting a plurality of low light level bulbs and terminating in a general area lighting means which extends below the upper surface of the shade so that the tubular shade hides the low light level bulbs and the general area lighting means.
Abstract: A floor lamp having a hidden first light source intermediate the base and the top of the lamp with an elongated tubular shade enclosing the space within in which the first light source is disposed and defining the outer periphery thereof and obscuring the first light source. A plurality of legs in the form of slat like members having a thickness and a width are equi-angularly disposed and rise from a base. A torchiere is supported at the top of the legs in order to provide illumination by a general area lighting source. The slat like legs define a centrally disposed inner space which receives the first light source, as well as a stem rising from the base and carrying electrical wiring to provide electrical energy to the first light source and the general area light source. A canopy is secured to the upper ends of the slat like legs to maintain them in position to define the centrally disposed inner space.
Abstract: A lamp having at least a portion of a body formed of translucent material defining a hollow chamber within which a low light level light bulb is housed. A portion of the body is removable to provide easy access to the light bulb for removal and changing when required.

Abstract: A lamp having a body which defines a hollow chamber and is constructed at least in part from translucent material has one or more night lights directed upwardly and supported therein. The body includes a top crown which is held in place by a lock ring secured upon threads of a coupling device. Access to the upwardly directed night lights is obtained by removing the lock ring and moving the top crown upwardly to provide access to the hollow chamber so that one may insert his or her hand into the hollow chamber to remove and replace the lamp. The top crown is then replaced and the lock ring again secured.

Abstract: A Giclee printed lamp shade and method of making the same which includes a lamp shade having a frame having a top and bottom of the same geometric configuration and dimensions to provide flat sides thereto. A Giclee printed fine art canvas material is permanently adhesively secured to base material which is affixed to the lamp shade frame. The Giclee printing is accomplished by providing a digital image to be printed on the canvas, providing a printer capable of accomplishing the Giclee printing, imparting the digital image to the Giclee printer, Giclee printing the image on the canvas material and securing the canvas bearing the Giclee printed image to the outer surface of the lamp shade.
Abstract: A torchiere lamp which includes a plurality of at least three dedicated compact fluorescent bulbs which are disposed internally of an upwardly directed pan shaped member carried by a stem supported upon a base.
Abstract: A ceiling mounted lighting apparatus having at least a pair of articulated swing arms connected to a support post by a swivle assembly. Each of the swing arms supports a plurality of lamps each of which may be independently adjustable with respect to the swing arm. The support posts carrying the swing arms are braced to carry the weight of the articulated arms and the lamps affixed thereto.

Abstract: A tree torchiere lamp having a general area lighting means connected to one end of a stem which, in turn, is supported upon a base. At least two task lights are rigidly connected to the stem at points longitudinally spaced apart along the stem by a fully flexible arm allowing the task light to be positioned in a multitude of positions surrounding the stem.
