Abstract: A stand-alone electric lamp which includes a base and a general area light source affixed an opposite end of one of a pair of stems to provide general area lighting. Disposed on the stems intermediate the base and the general area light source is a support member in the form of an elongated plate. The other of the stems terminates at the plate. Extending from the plate is an arm which has attached to its end a light source for providing task lighting directable to specific areas. The arm has a pair of flexible sections disposed therein to allow the task light to be adjustable to direct the light therefrom to the desired area.
Abstract: A torchiere lamp having a base and an upwardly directed general area lighting fixture supported upon a stem extending from the base. A task light is supported upon a rod which passes through a pair of anchors secured to the stem so that the rod is disposed substantially parallel to the stem. One of the anchors carries a locking member in the form of a threaded thumb screw which may be loosened to permit vertical and rotational movement of the rod for positional adjustment of the task light. The task light includes a reflector or shade pivotally attached to the rod to thereby permit further rotational and pivotal adjustment of the reflector.
Abstract: A ceiling fan having a plurality of blade irons removably attached to a rotor. Each blade iron includes an arcuate web with a first flange for attachment to the rotor. A second flange is included for receiving a fan blade. The trailing edge of each blade iron overlaps the leading edge of the next successive blade iron.
