Abstract: A launcher mechanism for flying an article, the mechanism includes a handle, a release means, a cooperating means and a linking material. The arrangement being such that the cooperating means on the article is engaged with the release means, which is linked by the linking material to the handle. The article can be thrown by swinging the handle, the path of the article being guided by the path swept by the handle, until the impetus of the article is sufficient to part the increasingly separable engagement between the release means and the cooperating means. The article is released with a forward momentum.
