Abstract: A method for presenting advertisement images on a display screen, comprising: subdividing a map image into a plurality of geographic regions; associating an advertisement image with a region of the plurality of geographic regions; receiving a signal indicative of a group of regions of the plurality of geographic regions; receiving a signal indicative of a region-of-interest, the region-of-interest corresponding to at least one region of the plurality of geographic regions; determining whether the region and the region-of-interest are included in the group of regions, and if so, generating a presentation of the advertisement image; and, displaying the presentation on the display screen.
