Based on the pre-approval list stored on the public cloud service, the client device obtains information identifying the user's personal cloud account. The personal cloud device verifies the pre-approval of the binding based on the pre-approval list stored on the personal cloud device. The personal cloud device transmits a verification to the public cloud service. Each of the public cloud service and the personal cloud device stores information indicating the binding.
