Abstract: The invention relates to a household electrical system, for example for ironing, comprising an appliance, such as an iron, connected to a base by a cord made up of at least: —a first electrical line formed by a first set of conductive wires for high-voltage (HV) transmission of a heating power, —a second electrical line formed by a second set of conductive wires for the low-voltage (LV) power supply of an electronic board arranged in the appliance, —a third electrical line for providing two-way data transmission between the base and the appliance; characterised in that the third electrical line is formed by the second set of conductive wires; the system also comprising a modulator suitable for modulating the voltage and/or the current circulating in the second set of conductive wires, so as to activate the second electrical line and the third electrical line or the third electrical line exclusively.

Said ironing apparatus is characterized in that it comprises a device for forcing the displacement of the water arranged between the reservoir and evaporation chamber (5), the latter including a mobile wall (8) arranged parallel and opposite the wall (6) including the inlet (7), said mobile wall (8) acting as valve for said inlet (7).

Abstract: The invention concerns an ironing board (1) comprising: a working surface (2), a device for adjusting the height of the working surface (2), the support comprising at least two intersecting legs (3, 4) pivoting about a common hinge pin (5), the upper ends (7, 8) of the legs (3, 4) being secured to the working surface (2), at least one of the legs (4) being mobile, its upper end (7) adapted to be displaced in a plane parallel to that of the platform (2).
