Patents Assigned to LCC Cice Compagnie Europeenne de Composants
  • Patent number: 4646037
Abstract: A filter contact comprising an electric contact in the form of a metal rod surrounded by a filter element of tubular shape. The external face of the filter element is fitted with a first electrode and the internal face of the filter element is fitted with a second electrode which is connected to the electric contact, the two electrodes being isolated from each other. The filter element of tubular shape is constituted by a tubular varistor in which the second electrode has an extension on at least one lateral electrode face having a zone of rounded shape such that coating in this zone with an electrode paste known per se produces a deposit of substantially constant thickness.

  • Patent number: 4633551
Abstract: In a method of continuous fabrication of mother-capacitors, a mother-film of substantial width is first metallized and cut so as to form intermediate films. A border is then formed on each intermediate film by means of a YAG-laser beam. Each intermediate film is then cut so as to form individual films by means of a CO.sub.2 -laser beam, the beam spot being located in proximity to the YAG-laser beam spot on the intermediate film. After relative displacement of the individual films, they are wound on a wheel of substantial width so as to form an array of n mother-capacitors. A single intercalary element is placed between two tiers of an assembly of m mother-capacitors, thus endowing the assembly with good stability. The two outer rings of mother-capacitors are finally cut-out after spray-coating.

  • Patent number: 4628386
Abstract: The invention provides a magnetic reading and/or writing device comprising a guide for a magnetic data carrier and a magnetic head support. The magnetic head support has a stirrup piece movable in translation with respect to a fixed piece and a magnetic head rotatably mounted on the mobile stirrup piece. The mobile stirrup piece is urged resiliently to press the magnetic head against the magnetic carrier.

  • Patent number: 4624037
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the continuous production of capacitors of the stacked type, wherein a stock or matrix capacitor in the form of a parallelepipedal bar is cut into elementary capacitors of which the lateral connections formed by the application of molten metal (Schoop process) are subsequently connected to electrical connecting wires. In accordance with the invention, the transfer from the cutting station to the soldering station for the connecting wires is performed by means of a gripper whose jaws are applied on the lateral connections formed by the application of molten metal and make it possible to inject an electrical checking signal between the plates of the capacitor during the transfer operation.

  • Patent number: 4527318
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for placing components in a case and to an appropriate device. According to the invention, the component is guided into the case by means of a clamp, whose jaws have an internal impression having substantially the external dimension of the case and which are provided with a chamfer permitting the guidance of the component into the case. Preferably, these jaws also have a second opening provided with a chamfer, by which the case is introduced. During the introduction of the component into the case, the latter is secured in position. Application to the placing in cases of capacitors.

  • Patent number: 4516186
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-layer capacitor. It has internal electrodes extending over a part at least of each layer and connected electrically and thermally alternately to one or other of two terminals extending over a junction edge of the capacitor and over a part at least of a lateral edge adjacent said junction edge. To each of the terminals is soldered an electrical connection adapted to provide also heat drainage. Such a structure improves the drainage of the heat dissipated in the capacitor during operation under high reactive power or at high frequency.
