Abstract: A refrigeration system for a cannabis product manufacturing machine provided with an intrant feeding system includes i) an enclosure for receiving at least part of the cannabis product manufacturing machine and having at least one opening for allowing access to the intrant feeding system and to cannabis products after production; and ii) a refrigeration system operatively mounted to the enclosure for forcing a first temperature in the enclosure. The refrigeration system can also be provided with a refrigeration subsystem coupled to the intrant feeding system for forcing a second temperature therein.

Abstract: A cannabis joints filling system includes a cannabis joint filling apparatus for receiving and holding a paper cone along a longitudinal axis and for receiving and pre-compacting a predetermined quantity of cannabis into the paper cone; and a cannabis feeding system including i) a weighing scale, ii) a cannabis feeding apparatus adjacent the weighing scale for receiving cannabis in bulk and for controllably outputting a predetermined portion of the cannabis in bulk onto the weighing scale, and iii) a single portion cannabis distributing device, including two cups that are sequentially movable between a) a cannabis weighing position, wherein one of the two cups cooperates with the weighing scale to measure the predetermined portion of the cannabis, and b) a cannabis distributing position, where the predetermined portion of the cannabis is fed to the cannabis joint filling apparatus.

Abstract: A system for compacting cannabis in a cannabis cone comprises i) a cone gripper that is movable between an open position and a closed position around the cannabis cone; wherein, while in the closed position, the cone gripper applies pressure onto the cannabis cone that is sufficient to hold the cannabis cone; ii) a compaction rod, having a tip, for compacting cannabis in the cannabis cone, the compaction rod being reciprocable along an axis between a retracted position, wherein the tip is out of the cannabis cone, and an extended position, wherein the tip is inserted in the cannabis cone; and iii) a protective collar that is movable within the cannabis cone, coaxially thereof, near the open top thereof, so as to define a barrier between the compaction rod and the cannabis cone when the compaction rod reciprocates in the cannabis cone.
