Abstract: An electronics rack component including at least one slide locking mechanism for removably securing the component to a rack. The slide lock mechanism includes a slide lock with a support configured to slide along a flat flange portion of the rail. A release lever protrudes from the top surface of the support base and provides a structure or surface for a user's finger to slide the support base along the flat flange portion. A locking latch extends downward from the bottom surface of the base and through the slot in the rail. The locking latch includes a portion spaced apart from the bottom surface of the base a distance to accommodate the flat flange portion and a flange on the electronics rack. A spring biases the slide lock toward the end of the component.
Abstract: An electronics rack with integrated battery storage compartment for an uninterrupted power supply is disclosed. The battery storage compartment includes a compartment housing attached to the rack and a compartment drawer slidingly mounted within the compartment housing. The compartment drawer includes an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and one or more batteries for providing battery powered backup for electronics components mounted in the rack. The UPS includes one or more output power lines that connect to one or more outlets for supplying power to components mounted on the rack. The compartment drawer is mounted to the compartment housing through mating slide rails. The compartment drawer includes an access panel with a handle which permits a user to slide the compartment drawer out from the compartment housing.
Abstract: A pedestal for a conference table or other furniture has a shell having an opening, and a rack for electronic equipment mounted within the opening. The rack is pivotable about a vertical axis between a stowed position in which the rack is entirely within the pedestal and an access position in which the rack is largely outside the pedestal.
Abstract: A projector mount with controls enabling quick selection between course alignment of the projector by hand about any of three positioning axes—pitch, yaw, and roll—and precision adjustment of projector position about any one or more of the axes, once the course alignment has been completed.
Abstract: A slide mount assembly for attachment to a wall or other structure in a location behind a mounted display and for mounting of electronics equipment. The slide mount assembly includes a base frame configured to attach to a structure and frame having a mounting flange with holes for use in securing the base frame to the structure. A slide frame is slidably attached to the base frame by at least one slide assembly. The slide frame includes flanges that are attached to a slide frame plate, each flange having a plurality of spaced apart apertures. A mounting plate is attached to the slide frame and has a planar portion. At least one mounting tab is formed on and extends outward from the upper and lower edges of the mounting plate. Each mounting tab is configured to engage with one of the mounting apertures on the slide frame.

Abstract: A piece of furniture, such as a lectern, has a shell with an opening. A rack for electronic equipment is mounted within the shell. The rack can be slid between a stowed position in which the rack is entirely within the furniture and an access position in which the rack extends through the opening and is partially outside the shell.
