Abstract: A milling unit for the beating of snow-covered slopes consisting of a box-shaped structure comprising a central part to which two side parts are connected by hinging elements, in order to allow for oscillation. The structure has two hooking elements for its connection to a tool-holder, in turn connected to a rear part of the vehicle and, on the opposite side the structure has a rake for the beating of the snow. Inside each of the side portions of the structure there is a side miller and within the central structure there is a central miller, where the side millers can be activated in rotation by at least one motor, and each one of them is connected to the central miller by a constant-velocity transmission. The hinging axles do not pass through the axles of the central and the side millers.
Abstract: An automatic clamping device for cableway systems including a pair of jaws. One jaw of the pair of jaws is driven in opening and closing through at least one arm, which is capable of rotating around at least one articulated joint. The rotation occurs due to the action of springs or by operation from outside on an opening lever so as to grip or release a traction cable of a cableway system of the two-cable type.
Abstract: A mobile jaw (11,12) vice (10) for clamping and unclamping vehicles (19) to and from a traction cable (13) of a single-cable or two-cable transport system, such as a chair lift, a funicular cableway and a city transport system or a telpher, comprising a lever system (14, 15, 16) for arm (17, 18) and jaw (11, 12) handling, adapted to guarantee a suitable opening and an effective grip of the vice (10) onto the cable (13) also in case of wide oscillations of the vehicle (19).
Abstract: A device for setting and automatic adjustment of the tractive forces of the cable of an overhead winch for a ski slope preparation and maintenance machine comprising an adjustment control unit connected to a controllable winch drive and a processing device connected to sensors and to the adjustment control unit is described.
Abstract: In order to operate both arms of a clamp of a funicular system of a rail and running cable vehicle with the same force and at the same time, a guide carrier element, which includes two longitudinal surfaces over which the free ends of the movable jaws move, is formed in one piece and can move vertically transverse to the free ends so as to be instantaneously and automatically self-centering about the jaws and hence about the clamp.
Abstract: A double-acting clamp for coupling a funicular vehicle to a running cable wherein in order to reduce the overall size as much as possible, a clamp has jaw operating arms substantially perpendicular to the jaws of each arm and said jaw operating arms define a space within which both an elastic mechanism and the operating arms for the elastic mechanism are housed.
Abstract: A tracked vehicle is described for travel along a terrain and in particular one for the preparation of ski slopes. The vehicle comprises a self-bearing chassis, a plurality of running bearing wheels fixed in a rotating manner on horizontal axles at each longitudinal side of the chassis, a drive wheel fixed in a rotating manner on a horizontal axle at one of the ends of each longitudinal side of the chassis and, a track tightening wheel fixed to a horizontal axle at the other end of each longitudinal side of the chassis downstream of the last bearing wheel. At least one of the rear bearing wheels is supported by the chassis with its axle movable in the vertical plane containing it, there being provided linkages for moving the wheel from a lowered position, in which part of the track running thereon is in contact with a longer portion of the underlying terrain, to a position wherein part of the track is raised from the terrain.
Abstract: A mechanical transmission comprises first and second speed reduction gears arranged above each other and a shaft operated by the gears, the shaft supporting at a free end a pulley coaxially rotatable therewith. A first articulated coupling is axially slidable on the shaft between the gears and is provided with a lower and upper toothing. The upper toothing engages with a first flanged sleeve rotatably connected to the first reduction gear and the lower toothing is connected to a second flanged sleeve rotatably connected to the second reduction gear, and axially slidable within a seat thereof.
Abstract: Buffered lead-in guide for cableway vehicles constrained to a haulage cable by a hooking device of the clamp type, and provided, in an upper hanging-up portion thereof, with at least one pivot provided with balancing and guide rotary elements acting inside the lead-in guide. The lead-in guide is constrained to outer supports and is provided with an enlarged mouth portion which gets narrower up to an inner dimension close to that of the rotary elements. The enlarged portion is arranged in a substantially cantilevered position and in correspondence of at least a first support of the outer supports. Elastic elements positioned between the lead-in guide and the outer support are provided.
Abstract: The device comprises two speed reduction gears with coaxial shafts and a fixed support interposed between the reduction gears and housing a first hollow shaft coaxial to the shafts of the gears and in which there is rotatably housed a second independent shaft coaxial to the shafts of the gears. Two pulleys are rotatably mounted on the first hollow shaft and are rigid with toothed flanges which engage frontally in internally splined tubular elements within which sleeves are slidable coaxially but externally to the two shafts. The sleeves are engageable with the shafts and with the tubular elements.
Abstract: A vise is constituted by a stationary jaw and a movable jaw, pivoted to each other, and suitable to be clamped onto a cable by means of the action of at least one spring. The stationary jaw is prolonged into a supporting pin for the vehicles, and the movable jaw is prolonged into a lever controlling its opening or closure onto the driving cable in cooperation with the stationary jaw. The spring acts between the supporting pin and the control lever to keep them open wide apart relative to the hinging axis of the jaws.
Abstract: A hydraulically controlled bulldozer-blade attachment, particularly for application to an endless track tractor, exhibits, with a view to an improved versatility of use and a better adaptability to the various ground outlines, two half-blades which are linked to a liftable and depressable intermediate frame, the linking axes of the half-blades being at a backward incline relative to the vertical line with reference to the advance direction and each half-blade being controllable by a double-acting jack of its own. At their ends, the half-blades have sloping extensions which can be oriented about horizontal axes arranged in the direction of advance as controlled by double-acting jacks.
